There will be light fare and the usual refreshments. Join us in supporting one of the area's most celebrated photographers, and be a part of the process.

ABOUT THE FILM:

"It was the first anniversary of Elvis' death that began photographer Ralph Burns' annual pilgrimage to Graceland.  Over a period of 30 years, Ralph has made an iconic body of work of this ritual, and in August 2017, he returned for the first time in nearly a decade for the 40th anniversary. Art and ritual are at the center of In Love’s Shadow.  As much as this film is about the rituals of film, photography and the darkroom,  it is also about the relationship between Ralph's ritualistic journey to Graceland and the fans who return each year to remember, mourn and celebrate Elvis.  It is part of a larger body of work; a life's work that probes love, loss and ritual, and our species inclination/desire/need to believe in something beyond."
