Jordan Krutsch: ABSENT

  • REVOLVE 122 Riverside Drive STUDIO F Asheville, NC, 28801 United States

Join us for this WCU GRAD/REVOLVE exhibition and reception on Saturday October 8th from 4pm - 6pm.  The exhibition will open to the public on Friday September 30th at 12 noon.

My studio practice is guided by the role of experimentation in understanding perceptions, preconceived notions or art making, and the role of the artist or craftsperson in what the viewer may perceive as the final piece or product. My research focuses on experimental installation-based which use appropriated and re-appropriated items, hand-made components, and traditional and non-traditional studio methods and materials. Participants’ perceived results will vary from strictly aural to optical and combinations of both while allowing for a critical view of perception of space, identity, and of order and understanding.
